The interests of the restaurant and hospitality industries on
a broad range of regulatory, legislative and judicial matters.

With a law degree from Georgetown University and a Master’s in Tax Law,
Tracy has concentrated her representation of the industry and,
its members on various restaurant and foodservice-specific tax matters for 30 years.
On behalf of the industry, she negotiated and was one of the principal authors,
along with representatives of the Internal Revenue Service,
of IRS’s Tip Reporting Alternative Commitment (TRAC),
a voluntary agreement between individual restaurant establishments and the IRS designed to improve tip income reporting.

to IRS’s National Office Positions
on such matters as the tax treatment of small industry wares,
and asset depreciation classifications,
resulting in billions of dollars of tax savings to the industry.
